SATEWAVE DONATES SOLAR BINS

Victoria Falls Municipality has received a timely donation of solar bins and bus shelters from Satewave Technologies, a Zimbabwean-based Chinese Construction Technology Company.
Installation works have begun being a step forward for the Municipality towards meeting world class standards of service delivery.
Public Relations and Economic Development Officer, Mr. Ngqabutho Moyo said, “We as Victoria Falls are an international brand which is mandated to provide non-toxic surroundings for both our locals and visitors.”
These solar bins are a complimentary effort in the solid waste management sector and will go a long a way in ensuring the cleanliness of the resort town.
The solar initiative is in line with the resort town’s vision to become a competitive Green City and its mission to maintain its uniqueness and naturalness as a world class tourism destination.
“Victoria Falls Municipality is open to partnerships with private players in the quest to combat health hazards, hence we commend Satewave technologies for this thoughtful donation,” added Moyo.
The solar bins have magnificent features like a light bulb for the evening, a look-able bin tray charger ports to allow travellers the pleasure of charging their phones while waiting for their lifts.
Public Health officer, Mr. Tongai Ncube said, “These innovative bins are a welcome initiative bringing about a safe and a clean environment which is anticipated to reduce likelihoods of deadly diseases like cholera in the resort town.”
Satewave Technologies is a construction technology services company operating in the telecommunications, electrical, civil construction sectors.
